This vintage Halston purple jersey dress is in a fine, lightweight wool that is perfect for Spring and cooler summer days. At first glance, the dress looks deceivingly simple, but when you put it on, you instantly become aware of the unique Halston details that make it anything but! We love that the dress has an asymmetrical hem with a flounce detail on one side.

The long sleeves of the dress are tapered with a small inner slit with a fabric covered button closure. The back metal zipper is asymmetrically placed with a hook and eye for closure. The purple has a slight blue hue.

This vintage dress was made in USA and purchased at I Magnin in the late 1970's. There is an I Magnin label sewn in as well as the Halston and Union labels. There is no size label attached, but we estimate this would best fit a modern 6/8.  Please use the measurements for reference to assure a proper fit!
